Principal's Message

Dear students
Education is sole tool easily accessible to all that can bring about transformation in one’s life. You should feel privileged to have higher education at your door steps. Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Govt. College Joginder Nagar is imparting education in Science, Arts and Commerce at UG level since its inception in 1994. Masters degree in English & Economics, BBA, BCA & B.Sc. Physical Science(Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics) were introduced later on to fulfill the aspirations of youth of the area. It is heartening to know that students from Padhar, Dharampur, Neri-Langna, Lad Bharol, Bir, Matroo, Chauhar and Barot Valley and even from Chhota& Bara Bhangal seek admission in this college despite they have other options too. The college has dedicated faculty with good infrastructure. It has well maintained library with modern facilities. The college has good sports culture and students have also brought laurels to the institution in various cultural events. Students can opt for NCC, NSS, Rovers & Rangers and become active members of clubs and societies to nurture their talents.
The students can seek the guidance of college faculty and Career Counselling and Guidance cell while selecting the faculty/subjects/courses during admissions.
The students are expected to co-operate in developmental activities of the college and if they are facing any difficulty, can approach to College Grievance Redressal Cell and tutor to mitigate the same.
I appeal to the students to read the college notice board daily, make good use of technology to improve your academics and skills. Always use civilized language and treat others politely. Think! Your action should not to discomfort others. Use helmet and keep speed under check for safe driving of two wheelers. Never indulge in ragging and say no drugs and smoking. Lead healthy life style. Take intiative for betterment of student’s fraternity. Develop your leadership qualities. Youth is full of energy and enthusiasm. Prove yourself in competitions and adventure sports. Donate blood regularly. Learn as many languages as you can. Contribute articles to college magazine “AISHE & UGC Certification” to improve your writing skills. During vacation hone up your skills and keep yourself busy in creative activities. One can get success only through hard work, dedication and passion. Participate in seminars held at various levels as attending a seminar leads to better communication skills, gaining expert knowledge, interaction with others and exposure to various situations in workshops students learn by putting skills into practice.
I congratulate the faculty, non-teaching staff and students on completion of 25 years of existence of the college. I wish all the students a bright future, disciplined and successful career ahead.
